Concept of Kia Electric Car
Kia Pop is an all electric concept car that will be presented in Auto Show in these days. The trend for this show is to highlight electric vehicles which are becoming more and more popular. The 2010 Kia Optima 2.6 Liter V6 engine may not compete with some of the other V6 motors found in other sedans, but it is definitely lower priced as well.
The Volt will prove to be a bit more complex of a car. It'll produce exception mileage until the gas engine kicks in and then good gas mileage thereafter. This car won't leave drivers stranded should they run out of electrical power -- the gas tank can be topped off, extending driving range further. Still, with electric and gas engines combined, the full driving range for the Volt is 379 miles.
Based on the current design being produced in South Korea, the Kia Rio uses a "mild hybrid" model in which the electric motor provides a boost during acceleration and permits regenerative braking, but cannot drive the car on its own.
