KIA is a motor corporation that is the maker of quality vehicles. It was founded in 1944 in Korea itself. But, KIA first produces it’s car in mid 1970s because earlier it started the work as a producer of steel tubing and bicycle parts. The company's name KIA means "to arise, to come up out of Asia." The KIA Motors Firm has the honor of being oldest South-Korean firm. It provides it’s facilities in Malaysia, Slovakia, China, Vietnam and the United States. KIA has enjoyed success in Europe and began importing cars there in 1991. KIA was having it’s partnership with FORD earlier but due to tremendous losses in 1997 the company was forced to file bankruptcy and was acquired by Hyundai Motor Company and now is a subsidiary of Hyundai KIA automotive grove. FORD also tried to regain it but Hyundai Group outbid Ford. But after that KIA is reorganized and offers 640 dealerships in United States. It is the second largest sales manufacturer with sale of more than than 1.4 million vehicles in 2010.
KIA deals in Passenger cars, SUV s, Vans , Commercial vehicles , Electric vehicles and Hybrid-Electric concept cars. The good thing about KIA is that it’s sales department is just committed to one thing and that is satisfaction of customers. But the most important question is “ARE KIA CARS RELIABLE “, this is generally asked as because KIA has some problems with it’s reliability earlier but with time they have overcame their weak point and according to customers and reviews it seems that KIA has been good enough to make it’s customers happy in the past few years. KIA motors infarct, was planning to come to India much earlier but dropped it’s plan considering India is not good enough in International market but now , with India having blossomed into one of the most bullish markets for the automobile industry, KIA has reportedly hired an international consultancy firm to study the Indian car scene and the feasibility of KIA global models for Indian conditions but however it does not seem that KIA will bring their same image to India as they have globally.
As per it’s services KIA fully take care of it’s customers as when the customers have problems with their car in another region where there is a KIA dealer, and then KIA engineer will repair that car as soon as possible. But if they are outside the reach of KIA, then KIA staff will take them to a nearby hotel to wait for the repair and pick them up if the car has been repaired.
KIA also provides warranty three years up to seven years for the buyer of KIA cars. And also provides used KIA cars for those who have a limited budget and for them that interested to buy or sell used car through KIA Dealers.
